Hole 1/10

Hole 1/10
This long uphill par 4 will get you thinking from the very start! A well placed drive will set you up for a long iron up hill to the green guarded by a bunker on the left. Second shot to the green is a long Iron up hill that is a real test at the best of time, when the sea breeze is blowing the guarding bunker really comes into play.

Hole 2/11

Hole 2/11
Starting downhill for this moderate length par 5, a careful tee shot will set you up for an uphill unseen approach to the green. Too far right off the tee and there is a tree on that side guarding the green, too far left and it is a tough bunker shot to have a crack at the green. Again if there is a south wester blowing the hole becomes very long very quickly.

Hole 3/12

Hole 3/12
Standing at the tee box for this par 3, seems easy enough! But like all par 3's treat them with contempt and they will bare their teeth. Two bunkers guard the front of the green. If you aim just for the middle of the green with a break from front to back and a little to the left, getting the ball to stop on this green is a challenge, especially when the pin is tucked behind one of the bunkers.

Hole 4/13

Hole 4/13
A nice wide inviting fairway is presented off the tee box. However, over confidence will more than likely leave you in the well placed bunker to the right giving you a rough time to advance the ball sufficiently for your third shot into the green. As with all of the course, the approach varies greatly with the elements and when the wind is up, so is the blood pressure. To top things off when you finally get to the green the two tiered green will leave a tester if you have not managed to get the ball on the right spot for the putt.

Hole 5/14

Hole 14

Hole 5
Downhill off the tee box for this par 4 that can get very long when the Fremantle doctor is in!. With two geens for the fairway, the first, the fifth hole is a dogleg left. A well placed drive to the right will let you have a peek at the green that is guarded by trees and a bunker on the right front. Too long on the second shot and there is a world of hurt waiting with thick shrubs waiting the golfer who has over estimated the distance required. For the fourteenth, the hole doglegs to the right and ensuring the ball placement off the tee is a little to the left will again set you up for a direct shot into the green.

Hole 6/15

Hole 6/15
Although a shortish par 4, being uphill this hole does demand respect, especially with the approach to the green with two very well placed bunkers to catch you out if you have not had a confident second shot. With little run off again at the back the chip back to the green if you are long will present a challenge to have the ball stop near the pin.

Hole 7/16

Hole 7/16
Feeling crowded in on the tee box with trees lining each side of the fairway to the green this par 3 is a challenge with out of bounds to the left and four bunkers placed all around this tricky green elements come into play with the tee box exposed to the sea breeze right from the ocean. Great view, makes club selection tricky!

Hole 8/17

Hole 8/17
A blind tee shot for this par 4 does not present too much of a challenge. It is getting the distance off the tee! Too big a shot and you'll leave yourself an awkward second shot to a green that is very hard to stop the ball on. Leave it too short and the second shot has to have a good amount of spin to stop the ball again rolling off the back of the green.

Hole 9/18

Hole 9/18
Back to the club house for this testing dogleg par 4. With a newly constructed green, this home hole will guarantee that the 19th will be well utilised. A massive bunker on the right hand side should be avoided at all cost with the depth of it at some points 5 ft! Choose your club wisely as well, there is trouble left too. A great test to finish a wonderful days golf at Mosman Park Golf Club
